Upasana Puranik is currently an aspiring Star Scout on her way to reach the Eagle Scout Rank. She holds the position of Den Chief- where she mentors younger Scouts guiding them in their Cub Scout Journey. She is part of one of the few Girl Troops out there (Troop 582) in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) World.

Upasana participates in many outings and service projects such as campings and volunteering. This includes the Wreaths Across America, Mask Drive, Cleaning, Fixing Instruments at Schools and more.

She enjoys her time there with making friends and giving back to her community.

Upasana started off in Girls Scouts when she was in 7th grade but later on joined a co-ed troop and became part of BSA. She advanced ranks rapidly in her 1 and a half years in the troop.
